| Description | Françoise-Marie-Aloysia Maret : born in Camaret (Vaucluse department, France) in 1824. Daughter of François Maret, mayor of Camaret, and Marie-Thérèse Dianoux, land owner. She entered the Carmel on January 1846. Faith profession on November 21, 1847. She was elected vice-prioress and then prioress on December 25, 1865. She was elected prioress again from 1865 to 1870, and she was also novices' supervisor. She went to settle the Jerusalem Carmelite convent on October 9, 1873. She died there on December 13, 1902. |
