Description | Upon the petition given on 12 March 1906 by the neighbor shop owners for the purpose of manufacturing a sewer and pavement in the location across the cutlers’ bazaar in the East neighborhood The said place was inspected and it was understood from the inspection registers of inspection officials that the lack heretofore of any sewage construction there stems from the existence of three cellars, which are located underground in the midst of the road and do belong to Şeyh İbrahim Kami’ Effendi, that no construction can be realized until these cellars are destroyed, and that there is a total need of 22,696 piasters for the cost of these cellars and the requested construction of a sewage and pavement. It is extremely necessary to construct a sewage and a pavement in the said place and the municipal incomes are not sufficient to finance this money from the municipal fund. Therefore, it has been considered by our council that this money be apportioned out to real estate owners and necessary work thus be undertaken. Nevertheless, it is appropriate to relegate the matter to the Sanjak Administrative Council for negotiating the issue and taking, if deemed suitable, a decision on apportioning out the said money to real estate owners by two members to be selected from our council and the Administrative Council, and removing, in accordance with the 19. article of the Public Buildings Regulation, the cellars from the road. The 2nd of Kânûn Thânî (1)322 (15th of January 1907). |
