Description | In the marginal note, dated 9 December 1905 and numbered 1043, given by the Sanjak Administrative Council, it was stated that, for the purpose of renting out to Jewish butchers, seven more shops would be constructed within the Seyyidinâ Davud Aleyhisselâm gate, and that the construction expenses of these seven shops would be saved from the money taken on loan for the construction of twenty-seven shops previously decided to be made. Thereupon, the construction of the seven shops in question started and it has been understood from the hereby presented inspection register given by the municipal engineer that their construction requires 60,665 piasters as respected current akçe. Even though 10,000 piasters have thus been added to the next year’s budget and 242 liras and a quarter have been saved from the money taken on loan for the construction of the said twenty-seven shops, it has been figured out that 200 liras more have to be borrowed. It is appropriate to relegate the matter to the Sanjak Administrative Council to take a decision, if negotiated and deemed suitable, on covering the said 200 liras by way of taking a loan from the Anglo-Palestine Bank with a 6% interest. The 30th of Kânûn Thânî (1)321 (12th of February 1906). |
