Description | During the reading of the report dated on the 12th of Mârt (1)318, number two, which was presented by the municipal inspector Effendi, and which included taking the necessary procedures against sellers of vegetables and other stuff who put boxes and other things in front of their shops in al ‘Alûn mini-market and other markets. In order to allocate special areas for accommodating peasant women and set up places for urinating, deliberations were carried out. Since it was found that the basis of the municipal inspectors’ job is to prevent putting things in narrow markets, and to stop the placement of boxes and baskets, it was decided to appoint special places for each inspector, where he will be available around the clock. If a seller violates these orders, he will be given a warning before arranging legal punishment. If an inspector neglects his duty, information should also be given to the presidency. Since places used for urinating are not currently defined, it is necessary to define them with the recommended inspector. After allocations, deliberations will be carried out in this matter. Qantarat al Jawâ‘nah will be allocated for peasant women. In order to notify the recommended inspector of the proceedings, this decision was taken on the 18th of Mârt (1)318 (31th of March 1902).
