Description

After the water flowing to Taberiye Lake is cut, Bethlehem residents faced difficulties and many German families asked help from the Jerusalem German Consulate. Then, it occurred that there were many German families, that were local Christian families subject to Ottoman state, who converted to the Protestant sect; the waterway from Bethlehem to Jerusalem has no connection to Taberiye Lake; Bethlehem residents should contribute to repair costs in order to receive a share from it.
